Call Center Jobs on DELL India
IN a major development, world's leading personal computer maker Dell Computer Corporation is getting ready to establish a 1,000-seat call centre in Hyderabad. Apart from providing technical support to the company, the proposed centre will handle BPO and software development activities along with outbound direct marketing of the corporation.Says Col. Vijay Kumar, Director of Software Technology Parks of India of Hyderabad, "Dell Corporation will initially start its call centre facility at Cyber Gateway in Madhapur. Eventually the company will be setting up its own campus on a 20-acre plot in Manikonda. During the last few months Dell held a series of discussions on this issue with AP officials. The main reasons for the company to set up operations in Hyderabad are to exploit the available infrastructure and talent in this city and dispersal of risk factors. Also, Bangalore has now reached a saturation point for call centre business."
